Vinik Winery was founded in 2004, as a result of joint efforts made by Nikola Cuculj and Milojko Vilotić in an attempt to create a new wine story in Vršac on the foundations of centuries-long tradition of growing grapes and wine-making beneath the Vršac Hill.

Vinik Winery is located in downtown Vršac. in an ancient German-style house built around 1900, which also contains a spacious wine cellar covering 200 square meters.

The cellar of Vinik Winery is equipped with state-of-the-art enological equipment and tanks and barrels, with annual capacity of 70,000 thousand bottles of wine. Vinik Winery is also known as the first producer of Banat bermet, given that history of  bermet production is closely related to Mt. Fruška Gora and the town of Sremski Karlovci. Also, in the course of 2007, wine Vržole (Vrjeauloais) Noir was served as part of official protocol at formal receptions and dinners organized by the former President of the Republika Srpska (Bosnia-Herzegovina), Dr Milan Jelić.
