As the custom from the Austrian-Hungarian times goes, local population of Sremski Karlovci had their family "Spitzname" (family crest), so the ancestors of the Dragojlović family were also nicknamed the Dulka's. The Dulkas have lived in Sremski Karlovci since 1880, the year when a forefather of the family settled and got married in Sremski Karlovci to a local girl. The vineyards were a portion of dowry, and thus the wine story of this family has begun and lasts ever since to the present day. Since 1920, when Stevan Dragojlović officially founded the wine cellar, five generations of Dragojlović family have been fusing with their wines their love for grape vines, knowledge and experience accummulated over decades. Nowadays, the wine cellar is run by Đorđe Dragojlović.

Dulka vineyards stretch over the small hills by the Danube, on so-called "čelopeci" i.e. southern slopes of the hill where the vine is exposed to sun all day long. Vineyards covering the surface of 10 hectares are located on the locations Matej and Karaš.

Dulka Winery also takes great pride in Dulka's Wine House - house previously owned by the German family Metzing from Sremski Karlovci, who had been considered as the best wine-makers in Sremski Karlovci until the beginning of the World War I. The Dragojlović family have turned this house into a museum, where beside admiring museum exhibits, one can also enjoy Dulka wines.

Dulka Winery was also the first wine cellar in Sremski Karlovci to produce white bermet.
