In the region of Župa, vine and people's destinies are closely intertwined and the beginning of the grape harvest has been celebrated for centuries. Records say that in the days of grape harvest, merry songs of grape pickers echo over the hills and valleys of Župa region.Župa grape harvest was organized for the first time in Aleksandrovac in 1963, and ever since, it has become one of the most important wine events in Serbia which attracts visitors and wine lovers from all sides of the world...

This event has also become famous owing to Wine Fountain, which symbolizes eternal nature of Župa vineyards. This year, sponsor of Wine Fountain is company Vino Župa, which provided 30 tons of Župa rose wine.
