The most important wine event in Austria - VieVinum, will be held for the eighth time from 2nd June 2012 till 4th June 2012. The event takes place every second year in the Congress Center of Vienna's Hofburg Palace with more than 500 exhibitors from Austria and other countries. In recent years, one can witness growing presence of wineries from south-east Europe, which use this event as a starting point for penetration into new markets. At the previous VieVinum wine exposition held in 2010, Serbia's Chamber of Industry facilitated for the first time participation of 13 Serbian wineries at the event. This year, Serbian Chamber of Industry and their rep office in Austria have continued their activities aimed at promotion of Serbian wines on the global scene and boosting Serbian wine exports. The following wineries will present their wines at the Serbian stand: Aleksić Cellar, Radovanović Cellar, Kiš Winery, Aleksandrović Cellar and Budimir Winery. The wine exhibition is held in Hofburg Palace, entrance from Heldenplatz. Working hours for visitors: on Saturday (2nd June, 2012) and Sunday (3rd June, 2012) from 12-18h; on Monday (4th June, 2012) from 11-18h.
