At the 79th International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad, the Minister of Agriculture, Commerce, Forestry and Water Management, Mr Dušan Petrović, attended the ceremony of delivering 25 car keys as a donation which represents a part of the twinning project "Capacity Building and Technical Assistance in Creating New Wine Region Layout of Serbia and Geographic Origin System" which is carried out by Italian and Serbian experts.

This project is financed by the EU in the amount of 1.2 million EUR, and it will contribute to alignment of Serbian wine-making legislation with the EU rules.Beside creation of the new wine region layout of Serbia and establishment of a more efficient system of geographic origin control, the project also includes assistance provided to our Ministry in aligning laws and other legislation which govern this domain, training for state authorities' staff and assistance in purchasing equipment for better  control of wines with geographic origin.
