SERBIAN WINES AVAILABLE IN NORWAY

Since recently, wine lovers in Norway have got the opportunity to explore the world of authentic wines from Serbia, owing to BALKAN MOOD company from Trondheim. The goal of O. Goberg, the founder of the company, is to present the exciting and dynamic wine scene of the Balkan countries to Norwegian wine enthusiasts.

After more than a decade of regular visits to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and other countries in the Balkans and presenting the wine and gastronomic offer of the Balkans to Norwegian tourists, the founder of the company felt that the time had come to display wines from our region in Norway.

Of course, the focus is on indigenous varieties, so Prokupac and Tamjanika from Župa as well as Blatina and Žilavka from Čitluk are the first to arrive on the shelves of wine shops and for online sale in Norway.

Serbian wineries that are currently represented in the Balkan Mood portfolio are the award-winning Čokot Winery from Župa and Stemina Winery from Trstenik. The popularity of Prokupac is increasingly spreading across the borders of Serbia to reach consumers abroad.

Wines can also be purchased through Balkan Mood website, so wine lovers from all over Norway have the opportunity to get acquainted with Prokupac and wines from Serbia, and in the future from other Balkan countries as well.
