Wine corks from all over Europe are gradually finding their place as part of a project that Vinopedia already wrote about some time ago.Duane Saunders from Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) presented all his creativity and artistic flair with wine cork artwork. Duane, a retired physical therapist, has been collecting used wine corks for years. After he had covered a vintage BMW ISETTA entirely with wine corks and started showing it on local expositions, car shows and other local events in Kansas City and Minneapolis, Duane started his new wine cork art project - the map of Europe, where each country is outlined with wine corks originating from this particular country.

This project is slowly coming to an end, and as you can witness in the photos, map of Serbia is finally filled with Serbian wine corks. This is a small contribution of Vinopedia to successful realization of this interesting project.

Duane is slowly approaching the final phase of the project, and the remaining few countries where wine corks are still to be found in order to fill in the outlines of the country are: Albania, Bosnia-Hrezegovina, Montenegro, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium and the Netherlands.
