The relaxation of epidemiological measures in Belgrade also resulted in the possibility for local wine scene to gather on May 13th, 2021 at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade, where a tasting of the most successful wine from the portfolio of Chateau de Gourdon winery was held.

Terrasse à l’Ombre (varietal composition: Syrah 65%, Grenache 35%) won a grand gold medal and the title of the best rated wine from the Rhône Valley at this year’s edition of the Mundus Vini competition in Germany. The management of Tikveš winery from North Macedonia are particularly proud of the achieved result because Chateau de Gourdon winery is the youngest member of the Tikveš family and the first Macedonian investment in the French wine industry.

 

The whole event had regional character because, in addition to Belgrade, online tastings were held simultaneously in Zagreb, Podgorica, Banja Luka.

French winery Chateau de Gourdon has existed since 1870. Since 2018, it has been part of Tikveš system. The vineyards, about 45 years old, cover an area of 50 hectares in the Rhône Valley.
