The team of the Belgrade cult cocktail bar "Bar Central" have created a wine cocktail called "Prokupac Day" for the wine magazine Vino & Fino, thus joining the celebration of International Prokupac Day on October 14th.
Of course, the main ingredient of this cocktail is wine made from Prokupac, the most famous autochthonous Serbian grape variety. Here is the recipe for the Prokupac Day cocktail which has been created by bartender Srđan Stanković for the upcoming Prokupac day:
PROKUPAC DAY
22 ml Monin raspberry syrup
70 ml Prokupac wine
50 ml of lemon & lime soda
Preparation: Add all ingredients to mixing tin. Shake well, fine strain and serve in a lowball glass.
