Once again, from 5th till 7th July 2012, all wine lovers and admirers , i.e. consumers, and wine-makers and wine distributors will gather at the Liberty Square (Trg Slobode) in Novi Sad to meet, exchange impressions and hear each other's views. Interfest Wine Festival will be held for the 9th time in a row, under the auspices of Novi Sad Tourist Organization, Government of AP Vojvodina and the Ministry of Economy & Regional Development.

More than 100 wineries will present their wines at this year's Interfest. Wines of the New World (South Africa & South America) will be presented at a separate stall. Concerning Europe, majority of exhibitors will come from Croatia, Macedonia and Hungary. Apparently, Croatian wineries perceive this festival as an opportunity to introduce their wines to Serbian wine-lovers and to penetrate Serbian market. This year, all wineries which constitute Moslavina Wine Route will also present their wines. Concerning Serbian wineries, the organizers announced the following exhibitors:

Supported by the German organization for international cooperation GIZ, a cluster of wineries from Negotin and Knjaževac vine-growing areas will jointly take part at the festival. The goal is to promote wines from east Serbia on the market of Novi Sad and Vojvodina.

Festival's opening hours are from 18h till 00h. Every evening, visitors will also have an opportunity to listen to music performed by famous music bands and performers who will additionally warm up the festival atmosphere.
