Frankovka, Blaufrankisch, Lemberger, Franconia, Modra Frankinja, Kekfrankos - the grape variety can be found under all these names across the entire region of Central Europe. On March 30th, 2022, in Pecs, Hungary, the quest for the best Frankovka of the region will start at Kefrankos Grand Tasting 2022.

This evaluation of Frankovka wine is organized by the Hungarian wine magazine PÉCSI BOROZÓ (pecsiborozo.hu). The wines are judged by an international jury, and the full results of the judging will be published on the magazine's pages as well as in a separate PDF publication (in Hungarian and English) during the month of April.

This is an exceptional opportunity to draw attention to this grape variety, which is present in all Central European countries and at the same time promoted as a regional variety from which wines of excellent quality are produced.

Evaluation fee: 20 EUR per submitted sample.

It is necessary to submit 2 bottles of wine for each sample.
