The second edition of Traminer Festival will be held on June 26th and 27th in beautiful Principovac Estate and in the Old Cellar of Iločki Podrumi winery. For all wine lovers, it will be a great opportunity to spend a weekend in Ilok, one of the most beautiful Croatian cities, and enjoy Traminers from approximately 70 wineries from Croatia, Serbia, Northern Macedonia, Slovenia, Austria, France and Italy.
Already in its second edition, Traminer Festival has the ambition to establish itself as one of the world's leading wine events celebrating this great grape variety.

One great wine enthusiast once said that a Traminer is "like a lady who passes by you and leaves behind a trail of perfume".

In its second edition, Traminer Festival will have a line-up of guests that even wine events with much longer tradition would find enviable. The list of exhibitors include Michel Ginglinger from Alsace, Otmar Šturm from Metlika, Đorđe Bikicki from Fruška Gora, a great Alsatian with an English home address Eric Zwiebel MS, who will hold a grand masterclass on the best Alsatian Traminers with ten different grand crus. Traminer wines of the Austrian prodigy Michael Gross will also be presented, and Bruno Gaberšek, a wine expert from Slovenia, will deep dive into the archives of Ptuj Winery. Iločki podrumi winery, in cooperation with Miloš Stojaković from Aguara artisanal chocolate factory in Belgrade, will show how Traminer and chocolate go together fantastically and that every Traminer deserves its own chocolate, while Sarajevo chef and great culinary star from neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina Nihad Mameledžija will show how different types of Traminer can be paired with specialties of Bosnian cuisine such as small veal kebab, Herzegovinian lamb and Livno cheese, tufahija and tulumbi or keški and bulgure. Ante Miličević from Kutjevo will personally present his experiences with Traminer, which a few days ago was named the best Croatian predicate wine according to members of Vinum wine association from Zadar, and Dominik Jagunić will show why his latest macerated Traminer is a miracle!
At one of the workshops, Iločki Podrumi winery will also present one of the most intriguing Traminers from its rich archive, and the lucky ones who book their tickets on time will be talking about that experience for years. The organizers guarantee it!
