According to information released by Mačkov Podrum (Tomcat's Cellar) Winery from Irig, on the third Thursday of the month i.e. on November 15th, 2018, starting at 5 pm, visitors and wine lovers will have an opportunity to taste vin de primeur "svatovac" in the town of Irig. The venue of this restored tradition (the event has been held for the 11th time) has moved from downtown Novi Sad to the town of Irig, where the wine is actually made.

In addition to usual side-events: free tasting of new Portugieser wine, declaration of the Portugieser Knight, announcing the winner at the competition for the most beautiful wine song, you will also have a lot of fun (folk dances, tango, poetry, tamburitza orchestra). Owing to cooperation and support of the Municipality of Irig, visitors can also enjoy the concert of Romansa Tamburitza Orchestra. Top local gastronomic products (cheese, meat products, candies, jams) will also find their place alongside Portugieser.
