VINCE 2014 BUDAPEST - THE GREATEST WINE EVENT IN CENTRAL EUROPE

This year, Vinopedia continues good cooperation with the most influential wine festival in central / east Europe. In our close neighbourhood, in Budapest, the glamourous Corinthia Hotel Budapest will host for the fifth time in a row VinCE Budapest 2014 wine festival from 28th February till 2nd March, 2014. Approximately 160 wineries from Hungary and the neighbouring countries will exhibit at this festival about 1000 labels and present them to the visitors. However, VinCE Budapest has earned its reputation by the fact that the greatest stars of the wine world are coming to Budapest to share their knowledge and experience with other wine lovers and professionals in the wine business.

This year we are awaiting anxiously Masterclass workshops and lectures that will be remembered for a long time afterwards... For wine lovers in Serbia, VinCE Budapest festival is the nearest world class festival, therefore the most convenient (and the most affordable) wine event to visit, a great opportunity to stay for a few days in the heart of contemporary wine scene of central and east Europe.

Concerning the program, some highlights of the festival include:

– Institute The Master of Wine  will celebrate its 60th anniversary at VinCE festival with a Masterclass where 10 Masters of Wine present 10 wines from 10 different vintages.
– The man of Burgundy, Clive Coates MW, will bring you closer to this French wine region with 3 white and 3 red wines which will  prove why wines from this region have gained global appreciation.
– This year, all fans of glamour and Sparkling wines surely have a reason not to miss VinCE:  Moët & Chandon and their oenologist Elise Losfelt will present wines originating from the cellars of this famous Champagne wine house, whilst the Russian sparkling wine producer Abrao Durso will also present their sparkling wines from recent vintages.

- This year, the Balkans is making its way to VinCE festival stage in full splendour. Caroline Gilby MW  will present at her Masterclass workshop wines from the Danube countries, whilst Darrel Joseph intends to show us various Balkan varieties, including Plavac, Prokupac and Vranac.
– Admirers of Hungarian wines will get an opportunity to taste the best white and red wines of Hungary at two separate tastings, whilst an interactive workshop where visitors get a chance to blend wines from the top wine regions of Hungary (Including Tokaj), comes as a real surprise.

Tickets for this event can be purchased online through festival website (www.vincebudapest.com). When buying tickets, all sommeliers, restaurant owners, wine makers and other wine professionals should register their occupation/winery/company because this will grant them access to the professional tasting zone in addition to entrance to the main exhibition hall.
